At the time of booking your flight do inform the airline of your disability so they can make the correct provisions. Also, take this opportunity to check that all disabled help and assistance is included in the price of your ticket.
When at the airport consider the time you will have and your abilities to get around the airport. There are special assistance vehicles that can offer transportation through the departure lounge and onto the boarding gate for instance.
When at check-in, those passengers in a wheelchair may be required to transfer into one owned by the airport so theirs can be check-in. If you'd prefer not to do this then please check with your airline, well in advance of travel.
Disabled toilets are situated on the ground floor concourse and in the departure lounge.
Disabled lifts to both of the railway platforms are available, as well as disabled access to via the skywalk between the railway station and the concourse.
Passengers who will be enjoying the airport lounge can gain access by the lifts to The Aviator Suite.

Car Parking For Disabled Travellers |
|

Disabled travellers at Prestwick Airport will find dedicated disabled bays in all of the airport's car parks.
There are helpful assistance points right by the disabled bays in the short stay car park, that connect to a member of staff at the airport who can be called upon for help and assistance.
For those disabled travellers at Prestwick Airport needing to use the long term car parking, there is a courtesy bus that has wheelchair access that travels directly up to the airport terminal. |
